Leah Stiles founded Sea Waves after recognizing a critical gap in resources for service members and their families dealing with eating disorders. As a former Senior Chief in the Navy, Leah’s personal experiences, along with those of others in the military community, inspired her to create an organization that brings much-needed awareness and support to this often-overlooked issue.
Under her leadership, Sea Waves is committed to breaking the stigma surrounding eating disorders within the military while offering prevention, early intervention, and treatment options to ensure that no one faces these challenges alone. Leah’s passion drives the organization’s mission to foster a culture of openness, care, and proactive support for all service members and their families.
